Tigers Post Strong 2016-17 Academic Year

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific Tigers continued to be successful in the classroom this year after compiling a plethora of academic awards and highlights. During the 2016-17 academic year, 72 student-athletes across all 18 sports were named to their respective conference's All-Academic teams. 

During the Fall semester, 21 student-athletes received a 4.0 GPA and that number grew to 26 during the Spring. Twelve of those Tigers earned consecutive 4.0 GPA's in both semesters. Ten teams logged an overall team GPA above a 3.0 in the Fall semester and 12 received the same mark during the Spring. 

Overall the Tigers registered an overall team GPA of 3.07 in the Fall and a 3.18 in the Spring; giving the student-athletes a 2016-17 GPA average of a 3.12.
