STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific Co-Ed Cheerleading program will be holding its annual spring tryouts Saturday, April 30th and Sunday, May 1st. The two day tryouts will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. Saturday's tryout will be held at the Main Gym on the Pacific Campus and Sunday's will be held at South Campus gym. Both facilities are on the Pacific Campus.
Current Pacific students, incoming freshman and transfer students are encouraged to tryout. Requirements include the ability to either base or fly at a minimum level of proficiency for females and perform basic skills of a back spot and the ability to learn basic partner stunting for males.
The Pacific Cheerleading program is under the direction of second-year Head Coach Kevin Jack. Kevin was a four-year member of the Pacific Cheerleading team and served as captain for two seasons. He is currently a member of the No Limit All-Star division competitive cheer squad from Stockton. Also assisting Kevin this season is Kellie Similer, who also cheered at Pacific for four seasons.
