Chris Lynn Hired As Assistant Director of Athletics for Annual Giving
Stockton, Calif. - Pacific Athletics has announced the hiring of Chris Lynn as Assistant Director of Athletics for Annual Giving, overseeing the Pacific Tigers Athletics Association (PTAA), athletics special events, and assisting with annual giving initiatives for Pacific's 16 intercollegiate athletics teams. Chris will begin his new role with Pacific Athletics on Wednesday, June 15.
Chris comes to Pacific after spending the previous three years as the Assistant Director for Athletic Development for the Miner Athletic Club at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). While at UTEP, Chris oversaw the annual spring Fund Drive and managed over 100 volunteers who collectively helped the Miner Athletic Club to raise an additional $130,000 in new cash in 2010.
Prior to joining UTEP in August 2008, Chris spent two years working in the Athletic Department at the University of Kentucky, one year at UC Berkeley as an intern, and two years as a student assistant/intern at his undergraduate alma mater, the University of Louisville. In December 2011, Chris will graduate with his master's degree in sport management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
