Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center

The Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center officially opened in March of 2016 as the new home to the Pacific men's & women's tennis. it is located at the old site of Stagg Memorial Stadium, across the parking lot from the Alex G. Spanos Center and adjacent to the Chris Kjeldsen Pool Complex and the Field Hockey Turf.

The complex includes 12 courts, with covered player benches to enable both the men and the women to compete at the same time. The Roy and Jean Sanders Clubhouse was added in the fall of 2017 and is a 4,262-square-foot addition to the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center that includes a plethora of state-of-the-art amenities including men's and women's team rooms showcasing 12 locker spaces per team, an athletic training room and an office space.

There is also a healthy market area in the clubhouse sponsored by Valley Brew that is equipped with grab-and-go items such as drinks, sandwiches and salads. The Valley Brew Market also flaunts a bar that will have service available for special events held at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.

The addition also features patios and shaded areas that bring the project to 9,500 square feet in total.

The Golden Bear Insurance Company scoreboard will also be installed in the near future. The 12 feet wide by 6 feet high scoreboard will show live statistics for all six match courts.

Overall, the facility is a $4.9 million project that was spearheaded by a $2 million donation by former Tiger and professional tennis player Eve Zimmerman, with additional donations from Doug Eberhardt and the Bank of Stockton and many alumni and community members.

The Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center was made possible in part by a $1.5 million gift from Eve Zimmerman, a former Pacific tennis player who became a world-ranked professional player.
