Pacific Cheerleaders

The goal of the Pacific Cheerleadersis to promote Tiger Pride throughout the University and the community by supporting the Athletic Department, the student body, and the University. The cheerleaders showcases their skills and talents at numerous events, University activities and community functions. These individuals are an integral part of the Athletic Department and serve in large part, as public relations ambassadors.

    When does the Pacific Cheer Squad perform?
    During the fall and winter sports season, the Cheer Squad can be seen at various intercollegiate sporting events on campus including women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball. The most active sports season for the Pacific Cheer Squad is in the winter. They attend all men's and women's basketball games played on Thursday and Saturday nights, leading the crowd in cheers during the game and at time-outs.

    In March, the team travels to the Big West Conference Tournament and will continue supporting the teams through the post-season when the Tigers advance to the NCAA or NIT tournaments. The spring season the Cheer Squad will dedicate this time to prepare for the following year.

    When is the Pacific Cheer Squad practice schedule?
    The Cheer Squad practices Monday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday evenings from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Wednesday evenings from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. The squad is also responsible for attending assigned intercollegiate sporting events during the semester.
