Day Two Ends At The Arena Invite For Swimming As Pacific Posts Season-Best Times

Los Angeles, Calif. - For the second time, the Tigers hit the pool for a full day of swimming at the Arena Invitational as Pacific swam in 14 event finals on Friday, Nov. 22.

Throughout the day the Tigers swam well against the field with Pacific grabbing a handful of team points. Most notably for the Tigers on the day was their performance in the men's 100 Fly where Pacific took three of the top four spots. Senior Dai Wilson led the trio of finishers in the race with a second place finish with a time of 48.29, just under a half a second off the win.

In addition to their performance in the Fly, the Tigrers picked up season-best performances during the realy race heats in the evening. In the 200 Medley Relay, the women's team of Haley PrestonCristina MardonesDekel Shahaff, and MaryElla Randall posted a time of 1:44.54 in the first race of the night. In the next race, the men's team of Cooper RogersCameron FrankeDai Wilson, and Matt Stuhr touched a time of 1:31.85 for a season-best mark.

Throughout the day, the Tigers posted a slew season-best times in the event finals and will look to continue their success on Saturday, Nov. 23 in the morning prelim sessions of the final day of action. All the teams are back in the pool at 9:00 am to begin preparation in the 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 1650 Free and 400 Free Relay.
