2015-16 (Redshirt Freshman):
Shahaf put together one of the most impressive freshman years in Pacific history en route to being named the MPSF Freshman of the Year. He had Pacific's top times in the 50 Free, 100 Breast, and 200 Breast. In the 50 Free, he swam a 19.98, though his MPSF time of 20.03 was second in the conference and put him on the All-MPSF First Team. Shahaf broke school records in both the 100 Breast and 200 Breast, swimming a 52.97 in the 100 and a 1:58.54 in the 200. He narrowly missed making the NCAAs as well, losing out on a spot by just a tenth of a second. His 100 Breast time put him on the All-MPSF First Team, as did his 200 Breast. As a part of the 400 Medley Relay team, Shahaf helped Pacific put up the conference's best time with a 3:12.77. He was on the 200 Medley Relay team that swam a 1:26.80 to earn All-MPSF Second Team honors as well as the 200 Free Relay team that also earned such honors with a 1:18.92. The 400 Free Relay team also earned Second Team honors as Shahaf helped them record a time of 2:55.15.
