Freshman (2011):
Toss 18 innings in 15 appearances with three starts as a freshman. Posted a 1-2 record on the year with six strikeouts. Made his Pacific debut with a 15-pitch flawless innning against Kansas State on Feb. 19. Also turned in scoreless innings in two outings against Gonzaga, pitching two-thirds of an inning on March 4, and 1.2 on March 5, all without allowing a hit. Retired his first 10 batters in a row, including one via strikeout. In a mid-week start at Sacramento State, retired all six he faced on 18 pitches in two innings of work. Back in the bullpen, added another 3.1 inning stretch over four games with no runs allowed: one frame at CS Northridge (April 23), two-thirds of an inning against Santa Clara (April 26), a third of an inning against No. 10 Fullerton (April 29) and 1.1 innings of hitless ball against San Jose State (May 10).

High School:
An outfielder and left-hand pitcher for Beyer High School in Modesto, Crawford was a two-time All-League selection in the Modesto Metro Conference, earning Most Valuable Player honors his senior season… A three-time letterwinner for the Patriots under head coach Steve Clark, Crawford posted a .322 batting average with three doubles and ten runs batted in as a senior. Crawford also earned two letters in football.
