2011 (Redshirt Sophomore):
Appeared in eight games, with two starts. Finished the season 0-1 in 15 innings of work. Made his Tiger debut on Feb. 19 against Kansas State, coming out of the bullpen for three innings, allowing one earned with a pair of strikeouts. Took the hill for his first start on Feb.26 against Kansas State, lasting five and a third innings, while allowing three hits. Tossed three and two-thirds innnings of relief against San Francisco on March 25, with one strikeout.
Did not play in 2010 as a medical red-shirt.
Prior to Pacific (Cosumnes River Junior College):
Spent 2009 in at Cosumnes River Junior College, where he appeared in 15 games in relief as a freshman for coach Tony Bloomfield’s Hawks. Moeller posted a 3-0 record and an earned run average of 3.79 in his freshman year at Cosumnes.
Graduated from Folsom High School in 2008, where he earned 2008 Marine Corps. Distinguished Athlete of the Year honors, and Folsom High School Athlete of the Year honors. During his junior season, Moeller helped coach Sham Sidhu’s Folsom team to the Velta River League championship. He earned two letters in baseball, but was also a two-time letter-winner on the varsity basketball and football teams. As a wide receiver for the Bulldogs football team, he was named All-League. In basketball, he helped the team to both the Delta River League and sectional titles, winning the sectional championship game at the Sacramento Kings (then named) Arco Arena.
Paul Richard Moeller... Son of Wayne and Tamara Moeller. Majoring in Communication. Intends to pursue a career in law enforcement.
