Brett was one of nine Tigers to close out 2010 hitting .300 or better with a .312 batting average. Christopher had 20 multiple hit games, including five home runs and 39 RBI during his sophomore campaign. In Big West Conference play, Christopher started in all 24 games. He was fourth on the team with a .340 batting average, third with a .500 slugging percentage and led the Tigers with 100 at bats. Brett's best game came on April 25th against Cal State Northridge, where he went 3-for-6 with a home run and four RBI. In one of Pacific's biggest series, over No. 25 UC Irvine from April 16-18, Christopher took home national recognition as oen of College Baseball 360.com's weekly Primetime Players. The switch-hitting Christopher led the Tigers to a 3-1 record on the week during Pacific's first series victory over the Anteaters since the 2005 season. Christopher recorded the game-winning hit in the Tigers' 7-4 victory on April 17 with a two-RBI double to score the go-ahead run, and scored the eventual game-winning run in the follow-up 7-2 win that gave Pacific the series. 2009 (Freshman):
As a freshman, Christopher made his way into the starting line-up during four of the 16 games he played for Pacific. Brett primarily served as an outfielder for the Tigers, but provided speed off the bench in several situations. In 27 at-bats he compiled a .222 batting average and launched the first triple of his collegiate career at Stanford on May 13 when the Tigers fell 14-13 in the bottom of the ninth. During that contest Brett drove in one of his three RBI on the season. Christopher's best performance of the 2009 season was a 2-for-2 afternoon at the plate when Brett came in the second half of the game as an outfielder in Pacific's 11-0 win at Cal State Northridge on May 16. High School:
A 2008 graduate of Livermore High School in Livermore, Calif., Christopher earned four letters in basketball (two) and baseball (two). During those two years he lettered for the Cowboys (2007-08), the baseball team went 19-7 and 22-4 overall, winning the East Bay Athletic League two consecutive seasons. The captain of his baseball team, Brett earned first team all-league accolades his junior and senior seasons and capped off his high school career when he was named to the 2008 First Team All-Bay Area list. That year he hit .400 with four home runs, 35 RBI, 17 stolen bases and played error-free in the outfield. Academically, Christopher excelled in the classroom as well and was rewarded with a 2007 Student Athlete of the Year Award in the sport of basketball, and in 2008 he earned the Olympian Award for being an excellent two-sport student-athlete.
