The Pacific men's basketball team hosts a pair of West Coast Conference games this weekend. On Thursday, Jan. 23, the Tigers play Loyola Marymount at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, Jan. 25 Pacific hosts Pepperdine, also at 7:00 p.m. The games will be televised by TheW.tv. Saturday's game is also the Tigers' annual Pacific Plays Pink game, teaming up with Pacific Women's Basketball in a doubleheader.

Pacific is 10-7 overall and 1-5 in the West Coast Conference, after dropping a 79-73 decision at Saint Mary's last Saturday. Senior Tony Gill led five Tigers in double figures with 16 points. Senior Andrew Bock leads the team with 12.2 points per game, while Gill is averaging a team-best 5.8 rebounds per game.

Loyola Marymount is 10-10 on the season and 2-6 in the WCC, after a pair of home losses last week to Portland (71-57) and Gonzaga (82-72). Anthony Ireland leads the Lions with 18.4 points per game and 111 assists. Pacific's series with Loyola Marymount is tied at 24-24. The Lions have won six of the last eight in the series, but Pacific won the last game, an 86-76 victory at LMU on March 17, 2010 in the CollegeInsider Posteason Tournament (CIT). Pacific leads the series in Stockton 11-7, but have lost the last two games at home in the series dating back to 1985. The Tigers have not defeated LMU in the Spanos Center.

Pepperdine is 12-8 on the season and 5-3 in the WCC, after splitting a pair of home games last week with Gonzaga (L, 70-53) and Portland (W, 76-65). Stacy Davis leads the Waves with 15.3 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. Pacific leads the all-time series with Pepperdine 30-25, and have won two of the last three in the series.
