Stockton, Calif. - With the signing of his official National Letter of Intent, Michael Tolladay (Fresno, Calif.) became a Tiger golfer for the upcoming 2012-13 season as announced by head coach Brandon Goethals. Tolladay becomes the fifth golfer to sign with the Tigers for the upcoming season as he joins Christopher Macasaet (Sacramento, Calif.), Seungjae Maeng (Aiea, Hawaii), Cody Neal (Lemoore, Calif.) and Austin Weatherholt (San Jose, Calif.) as Pacific recruits.
Tolladay, a senior from Bullard HS in Fresno, Calif., will join the Tigers next season after establishing himself as one of the top high school golfers in California. A 6-2, big hitter, Tolladay has used his distance off the tees to put together a stellar high school career for the Knights throughout the last four years. The Fresno Bee Player of the Year in 2011, Tolladay took home the Central Section Individual Championship last year as a junior, beating out a field of 48 of the top area golfers. Additionally, Tolladay won the County/Metro Athletic Conference title in 2011 as he average a stroke better than par for his junior season.
"We are really excited to have Michael join the Pacific Golf Family," said Goethals. "He is a fine young man with a passion for the game."
