Golf Caps Off Regular Season Play At PING Cougar Classic

PROVO, Utah - The Tiger golf team capped off regular season play at the PING Cougar Classic on Tuesday, posting an even round on day two of the tournament. Pacific ended the three rounds at +18, which was good for tenth place. 

Austin Fox (218) paced the Tigers with a +2 performance at the Riverside Country Club. The freshman posted final round score of 70 (-2), a career best, with four birdies. Fox's T-27th place finish is his best finish this season.

Tyler Burnes ended round three with a 220, which put him at +4. Burnes was +1 today with two birdies, giving him six total during the tournament. 

Geoff Fry (223) and Casey Scott (224) both bounced back nicely on Tuesday to put themselves at +7 and +8 overall, respectively. Scott's eagle at 15 helped him notch a final round of 71, which is the 12th time this season he has posted a round at 75 or under. 

Rounding out the Tiger squad was Anthony Madrid (225) and James Feutz (227). 

Riverside Country Club will also be the site for the WCC Championships, which kicks off April 20th and concludes on the 22nd.
