Fort Collins, Colo. - The Pacific men's golf team wrapped up Colorado State's Ram Masters Invitational presented by Pedersen Toyota Tuesday, finishing in 14th. The Tigers shot 883 over three rounds to end play at +43.
Pacific posted a 299 for the day Tuesday. The Tigers shot 289 through the first 18 on the par 70 course at Fort Collins Country Club, and then posted a second round 295 (+14) on the 7,218-yard course.
The Tigers were led by newcomer Jee Horsangchai, who finished at 220 (+10). He posted a final round of 75 and finished 46th.
Austin Fox was the Tigers' most consistent performer, as he posted a 75 in all three rounds of the tournament, finishing at 225 (+15), tied for 73rd.
Daniel Peña rallied Tuesday, leading Pacific in the third round with a 74, as he finished the tournament at 228 (+18), tied for 85th.
The Tigers tallied 37 birdies in the tournament, seventh among the 19 teams in the field, with each Pacific player collecting six or more birdies.
Colorado State won the event on their home course, as the only team under par for the tournament.
The Tigers will be back in action on Monday, October 2, at the Nick Watney Invitational at Sunnyside Country Club in Fresno.
