WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – The Pacific men's golf team concluded its first of three rounds at the 37th annual Amer Ari Intercollegiate Golf Tournament, hosted by Hawai'i Hilo at the Waikoloa Beach Golf Club Kings' Course.
Pacific was paired with No. 2 Oklahoma State, No. 19 Southern California and tournament host Hawai'i Hilo for the first 18 holes.
As a team the Tigers finish the first round with a 17 over-par 305. Jee Horsangchai led the Orange and Black with a score of 75, shooting under par on the second, 13th and 18th holes. Two Pacific golfers -- Austin Fox and Beau Forest -- recorded a 76, while Daniel Pena and Casey Scott wrapped up the first round with a 78 and 80, respectively.
Fox, joined Horsangchai with a team-best three birdies on the day.
For Friday's round the Tigers will tee off at 7:30 a.m. and will pair with Oregon State, Hawai'i, and four individuals -- Nick Heinen (Okla. St.), Teddy Oitzman (Oregon), Triston Fisher (TCU) and Tobias Eden (Arizona St.).
