Men's Soccer Visits Stockton's Washington Elementary

Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Men's Soccer team visited Washington Elementary School in Stockton on Monday, sharing lessons about both the game of soccer and life while providing free pencils and other school supplies to students. The event celebrated the kick off of the Stockton Unified School District's academic year and the return of Pacific's men's soccer program, which has been dormant since 1985.

The coaches and players shared the value of working together as a team, showing good sportsmanship, the importance of education, and having perfect attendance with the elementary students at the South Stockton campus. In addition, the Pacific contingent stressed the importance of a college education and taking the appropriate steps to be ready for college.

The Tigers inaugural season kicks off with an exhibition opener on Aug. 20th against Dominican at 7:30 pm. Admission for the contest as Knoles Field is free and the game can be streamed in HD online at TheW.tv/live in both English and Spanish.
