Freshman (2010-11):
Erdelyi did not compete for Pacific’s swim team his first year at Pacific. As a member of the Tigers’ men’s water polo team, he was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Newcomer of the Year and was an All-America and All-Academic selection.

Neumann Janos Secondary (‘10):
Erdelyi prepped at Neumann Janos Secondary and Boarding School in Eger, Hungary.

Personal:
Erdelyi was born in Eger, Hungary, and is the son of Gyorgy Erdelyi and Ildiko Kiraly. He has an older sister, Nikolett. Erdelyi was a three-time Hungarian Junior Champion in water polo from 2007-09. In 2007, he was a member of the European Junior Water Polo Championship team in Malta and was voted the Water Polo Player of the Future. Erdelyi has also been a member of the Hungarian Senior National Water Polo team since 2008. He is majoring in business.
