Sophomore (2010-11):
Zlotoff was a First Team All-MPSF selection in the 500 Free and the 1650 Free. He was also a member of the MPSF All-Academic Team. Zlotoff took second place in the 1650 Free at the 2011 MPSF Championships, clocking in at 16:03.97. Zlotoff claimed a pair of first-place finishes in the Tri Meet on Oct. 30, winning the 1000 Free (9:44.34) and the 500 Free (4:41.32). He also won the 500 Free against Stanford on Jan. 8, touching the wall at 4:51.40. He finished second in both the 500 Free (4:45.21) and the 1000 Free (9:51.70) in the Quad Meet on Nov. 6.
Freshman (2009-10):
At the 2010 Big West Championships, Zlotoff swam his way to a 10th-place finish in the 1650 Free (16:12.13) and a 14th-place finish in the 500 Free (4:39.39). Zlotoff debuted with a second-place finish in the 500 Free (5:02.71) and a third-place finish in the 1000 Free (10:14.16) against California on Oct. 10. He finished second in the 1000 Free in three different meets. Zlotoff finished second in the 500 Free against UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 30 with a time of 4:46.22.
Pioneer HS (‘09):
Zlotoff prepped at Pioneer High School in San Jose, Calif., where he lettered in swimming. He was a USA Swimming Scholastic All-America selection from 2007-09. Zlotoff was the Mount Hamilton Athletic League champion in the 500 Free as a junior and senior, and finished seventh in the 500 Free at the Central Coast Sections in 2008. He led his team to a league title as a senior.
Personal:
Zlotoff was born in San Jose, Calif., and is the son of Stanley and Mara Zlotoff. He has two older brothers, Michael and Daniel. Zlotoff is pursuing a degree in mathematical economics and applied math.
