The No.15 Pacific Tigers returned home to host the NYU Violets at the Alex G. Spanos Center Friday March 18, and protect this house they did; as the Tigers completed a three set sweep over the Violets. Set Scores were: 25-20, 25-14, 25-15.

On a night where nearly every student athlete on the floor in Tiger Orange and Black got an opportunity to contribute to the victory, Pacific was led by redshirt junior Ryan Spencer (Santa Maria, Calif.) who collected seven kills in the match. Other major contributions came from Sophomore Christian Ahlin (Winnetka, Ill.)who hit a .500 clip while tailing five kills in the series and redshirt freshman Adam Troy (Loomis, Calif.) who hit .571 and sniped four kills. As a team the Tigers also recorded 10.5 team blocks and hit a .313 clip.

With the result, the Tigers improved to 8-14, (3-12 MPSF), while the Violets dropped to 12-7.

Both teams return to action Saturday March 19 against the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs at the Alex G. Spanos Center. NYU will play a 4:00pm and the Tigers will play the Slugs a 7:00pm.
