Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific women's basketball team enter their second-straight postseason appearance at home on Friday with a WNIT First Round match-up with UALR at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
Friday's game time will be announced by the WNIT on Tuesday, with ticket information being announced on PacificTigers.com.
The Big West Regular Season Champion Tigers earned an automatic bid to the WNIT via the program's first-ever conference title, won outright with a 14-4 BWC mark.
At 25-7 overall, Pacific has already well exceeded the program record for wins in a season (20), and clinched the program's best-ever win percentage mark.
The Tigers are back in the WNIT for the second straight season and third time overall. Last year, Pacific notched its first-ever post-season win by dominating Arizona State in the first round before falling at future WCC foe San Diego.
Representing the University of Arkansas Little Rock, the UALR Trojans went 24-8 in the regular season, earning the number two seed in the Sun Belt Conference with a 14-6 record after winning the Sun Belt's West Division for the sixth-straight season.
UALR was an NCAA Tournament the past three seasons, but fell in the SBC title game on March 11, 53-48, to Middle Tennessee State.
