In her first season at the Division I level, Arielle contributed in seven games played with the Tigers. On two occasions, White scored for Pacific. She sank her first three-pointer against Fresno State on Dec. 22, and then followed that up with a field goal at home vs. UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 9. In that game against Fresno State, White not only tallied a season-high points, but also a season-high rebounds with two. Against the Gauchos Arielle broke out defensively with two steals in that contest.
White joins the Tigers out of College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif. In two seasons with the Cougars, Arielle led her team to back-to-back Western State Conference championships after posting an impressive 44-9 record in two years. As a sophomore, White earned all-league first team honors after posting 10.2 points and 2.8 assists per game.
A 2007 graduate of Dorsey High in Los Angeles, Calif., White excelled in the backcourt for the Dons while playing in the Coliseum League. As a senior, White posted averages of 13.8 points, 2.5 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game, while leading the Dons to a 21-7 overall record. As a junior, White and the Dons went 25-5 while White posted 15.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. For her efforts she racked up several accolades including All-Los Angeles City Section, all-league, MVP of her team as well as best defender and All-Wave Area First Team.
Born in Los Angeles, Calif., Arielle White is the daughter of Michelle White. In her first year at Pacific, Arielle is pursuing a degree in sports management.
