Trudeau Named NorPac West Division Defensive Player Of The Week

Stockton, Calif. – Pacific Field Hockey defender Emily Trudeau was honored on Monday, Oct. 24, by the NorPac Conference as the West Division Defensive Player of the Week.

The San Jose, Calif. native, recorded three defensive saves for the Tigers when they took on the No. 10 Iowa Hawkeyes. Trudeau currently has seven defensive saves on the year, which puts her in a fifth place tie for most in the nation.

Trudeau will look to lead the Tigers defense against UC Davis at Brookside Field on Oct. 29 beginning at 1:00 PM. The game will be the last chance for fans to honor a group of seven seniors at their final home contest. The game will also serve as Pacific's annual Play Pink Game to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Research.
