Field Hockey At It Again, This Time At Local School

Stockton, Calif. – The Pacific field hockey team was at it again in the local community at the Tully C. Knoles School in Stockton. A group of players including Maggie Grindatti, Paige Counsman, Tarah Trotter, Melissa Maultsby and Emily Tregoning participated in a BINGO Night for the local school.

The BINGO night was part of Tully C. Knoles' book drive where students could earn credit to buy books in an effort to promote literacy. This is the second BINGO night the student-athletes of Pacific Field Hockey have happily participated in this year.

Head coach Linda MacDonald was also on hand for the event saying, "This was a really fun event for the players and more importantly the students."  She added, "It's great to see how excited the kids are from getting autographs and just interacting with the student-athletes."

The Tigers finished their first scrimmage of the spring season with a successful outing against California on March 17. The team will return to action in a scrimmage with a Bay Area club team on March 31 at 11:00 a.m. in Stanford, Calif.
