Stockton, Calif. – Pacific Field Hockey teamed with Habitat for Humanity of San Joaquin County this week to build three driveways and sidewalks in a local Stockton community.
The student-athletes and coaches loved the experience, including head coach Linda MacDonald who said, "This was an excellent opportunity to help the community and bond as a team." She added, "I am so proud of what the team accomplished today, it was hard work that included digging, leveling and moving around bricks to layout the driveways and sidewalks. We are very fortunate to be able to team up with the Habitat for Humanity of San Joaquin County for such a great cause and give back to the local community."
Pacific returns to the field next weekend for its final exhibition of the spring on April 22 at UC Davis.
