Stockton, Calif. – Emily Tregoning of Pacific Field Hockey was named the NorPac West Division Offensive Player of the Week on August 27 for her outstanding play against Saint Louis and La Salle this past weekend.
Tregoning had five points (two goals, one assist) in the Tigers season opening, 5-3 victory against Saint Louis. With the Tigers and the Billikens tied at three, she took over with two goals, including the game winner in the final 8:10 with shots from just inside the circle to give Pacific its first opening day win since 2009. Then, in the Orange and Black's contest against La Salle, Tregoning collected another point with an assist in the first half.
The reigning NorPac Offensive Player of the Week will lead the Tigers into action this weekend on Friday, August 31 against Bryant. The contest is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm on Brookside Field.
