2013 (Freshman): Egan made an immediate impact in her first season as a member of the Tigers. She played in all 19 contests, starting nine times. Egan scored her first collegiate goal in just her second game against Missouri State on September 2. For her efforts, she was named NorPac West Rookie of the Week. Egan registered assists against No. 6 Stanford on October 4 and against UC Davis on October 18.

High School: Egan is a midfielder from Vista High School in Vista, Calif. She is a four-time letterwinner for the Vista field hockey team that won the Avocado East League Championship in 2011 and 2012. Egan was named all-conference every year as a member of the field hockey squad including a first team selection when she was a team captain in 2012. Egan was named All-CIF in her final two seasons at Vista and also competed on the soccer and track squads. Academically, she was on the Principal's Academic Honor Roll and the California Scholarship Federation.

Personal: Katharine is the daughter of John and Elizabeth Egan. She has a younger brother James who plays baseball at Vista High School. When she is not playing field hockey, Katharine enjoys being outdoors, hiking and snowboarding.
