Tigers Fall to Seattle

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific women's soccer team fell to Seattle, 3-0 at the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Soccer Classic Saturday night. The loss drops the Tigers to 1-2-1 on the year and 1-1 in the tournament.

Regan Heslop got the start for Pacific, making one save while Henriikka Mäkelä played the second half recording three saves for the Tigers.

The Orange and Black executed four corners while also taking seven shots, with Alex Hussar and Kendall Bietsch both taking a pair of shots each. Bietsch's shot on goal was almost enough to put Pacific on the board but the Seattle keeper was able to record the save. Sigrid Aas had a shot on target but was saved by the Seattle keeper as Samia Adam also recorded a shot on goal.

Following the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Soccer Classic, Hussar, Bryndís Rún Thórólfsdóttir and Adam were all named to the All-Tournament Team.

Pacific returns home this Friday, Sept. 1st at 7 PM to take on Navy and the first 500 fans will receive a free Pacific soccer scarf so arrive early to cheer on the Tigers.
