With their final regular season non-conference matchup out of the way, the Tigers will direct their focus solely on defending their Big West championship as Pacific welcomes Cal State Fullerton to Bill Simoni Field on April 14-15. The Tigers and the Titans will play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 12:00 pm with a single game on Sunday, also scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm. The two teams enter the weekend tied for second in the standings as each sport a conference record of 4-2. Pacific finds itself as the only team in the Big West with a +.500 record at 25-14 on the year while the Titans hold a 16-18 overall mark.
Last season, the Tigers and the Titans squared off in a three-game series in Fullerton, Calif. where both teams took turns pummeling one another. On day one, Pacific pounded Cal State Fullerton in back-to-back contest, run-ruling the Titans in the first two games of the series, 10-0 and 8-0. Despite the 18-0 advantage from day one, Sunday proved to be a completely different story as the Titans returned the favor of day one with an 8-1 victory over Pacific to end the weekend.
