Santini’s 4:42.79 mark in the 400 IM was good for 22nd at the 2011 MPSF Championships. She placed second in the 100 Breast (1:08.33) in the Fresno Pacific-UC Santa Cruz Tri Meet on Jan. 22 after finishing as the runner-up in the 400 IM (4:44.78) versus UC Davis on Jan. 14. Against Stanford on Jan. 8, she came in second in the 200 Breast (2:33.93) and third in the 200 IM (2:17.04). She had three top-five finishes in the Tigers’ rout of Cal State Bakersfield on Oct. 30.
Santini finished 11th in the 100 Breast (1:06.68), 12th in the 400 IM (4:43.60), and 14th in the 200 Breast (2:25.03) at the 2010 Big West Championships. She touched third in the 200 Breast (2:38.94) against California on Oct. 10. Santini also claimed third against UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 30, this time in the 100 Breast (1:08.96). She had 12 other top-five finishes throughout the season.
Santini finished 13th in the 400 IM (4:36.45), 14th in the 100 Breast (1:07.91), and 15th in the 200 Breast (2:27.19) at the 2009 Big West Championships. She took second in the 200 Breast at the Quad Meet on Nov. 1, clocking in at 2:38.78. Against Stanford on Jan. 10, Santini touched the wall at 1:12.04 in the 100 Breast, good for third.
Bothell HS (‘08):
Santini graduated from Bothell High School in Bothell, Wash., where she earned four letters in swimming. Outside of her high school team, she swam under head coach Jim Verdier for the WAVE Aquatics club team.
Santini was born in Kirkland, Wash., and is the daughter of Greg and Amy Santini. She has one brother, Dominic, and one sister, Isabel. Santini is pursuing a degree in art.
