Jenna Chaplin Earns 800 Free National Title In The Bahamas

Junior Jenna Chaplin won the 800 freestyle to become National Champion for the Bahamas.  Competing at the 40th Annual RBC Bahamas National Championships for team Swift Swimming, Chaplin finished the race in 9:51.90.

During the  four-day event, Chaplin competed in an amazing 15 events, as she prepared for her main competition this summer - the 26th Annual Central American and Caribbean Swimming Championships (CCCAN) June 25 through July 3 in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. The Championships gather the best swimmers in Central America and the Caribbean and including Olympic qualifiers from several nations.
