STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of Pacific women's tennis heads to San Luis Obispo, California, to take on Cal Poly on Saturday, February 24. The match is set to start at 11 a.m.
The women look to bounce back after a tough loss against #12 Oklahoma State last weekend, 4-0.
In the last outing, Maayan Sela's singles match went unfinished with set scores of 6-2 and 1-4 against No. 37th ranked Vladica Babic. Karina Vyrlan dropped two 6-1 decision matches to Megan McCray and Sabrina Rodriguez fell by scores of 6-0 and 6-2 against No. 122 Sofia Blanco.
The Tigers enter the weekend 2-2 on the season.
Cal Poly enters the weekend 2-5 overall with Molly Reed leading with a 4-2 record overall and in dual play. She is 3-2 in three sets and 1-0 in four. Abigail Bacharach and MacKenzie Worsnop are the leading duo at 3-3 overall.
Following the weekend, the Tigers' will have two weeks off before returning to action on Tuesday, March 13 on the road at Hawai'I with first serve scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
