2012 (Senior):
A four-year letter-winner for Pacific, Gabby finished her career at Pacific as the consummate leader for the Tigers throughout her time in the Orange and Black as she has played anywhere and everywhere needed along Pacific’s front line. A middle-blocker by trade, Gabby played her final season on the pin for Pacific after injuries delpleted Pacific's ranks on the outsides. For the year, Cowden posted 179 kills while also tallying 34 blocks and a team-best 25 aces for 222.5 points. In addition to her stats, Gabby earned her first all-tournament recognition as the senior was named the Most Valuable Player of the Idaho Nike Invitational for her career-weekend while leading the Tigers to the tournament title. Overall, Gabby finished her career with 546 kills, 204 blocks, 91 aces and 270 digs.

2011 (Junior):
Named one of Pacific’s captains as a junior, Cowden established herself as one of the Tigers’ and the conference’s most reliable hitters as she posted a solid .329 hitting percentage in her third year of action.  Tallying 165 kills on the year, Cowden finished the year fourth on the team in kills while picking up a pair of double-digit kills efforts on the year.  Additionally, Cowden provided the Tigers with much needed offense behind the service line as she finished the year No. 1 in aces per game at 0.41 (39 total aces), a mark which ranked No. 38 in the nation among Division I players.  Defensively, Cowden ended her season with 78 blocks, second most on the team.

2010 (Sophomore):
Moving into a starting role for the Tigers in her second season, Cowden proved to be up to the task as she played in and started all 30 matches for Pacific. The top net defender for the Tigers in her second year, Gabby produced a team-best 111 blocks including leading the way with 13 solo efforts. Twice she set and then tied her career best mark defensively as she picked up eight blocks in two matches in a single week, first tallying eight against Sacramento State on Nov. 2 and again against Cal State Fullerton on Nov. 6. In addition to her blocking, Gabby had her finest offensive season to date as she recorded 194 kills including posting seven 10+ kill efforts on the year. Adding 27 aces, 32 assists and 103 digs, Cowden posted 283 points from her middle position in her second season of action.

2009 (Freshman):
Playing her first season of collegiate volleyball, Gabby saw action in eight matches for the Tigers while earning two starts. Playing behind a senior laden squad, Cowden improved steadily throughout the year as she finished the season with eight kills, five blocks and five digs for 10.5 points. Gabby's best match of the season came in conference play when she posted four kills, four digs and two blocks against UC Santa Barbara on November 14, to help push the Tigers past the Gauchos in conference play in a 3-0 sweep.

High School/Club:
A 2009 graduate from Monte Vista High School in Danville, Calif., Cowden was a four-year starter for the Mustangs. A two-time All-East Bay Athletic League Team member, Gabby earned first team honors in 2007 and second team in 2006.
