2013 (Senior):
Making the most of her final season in the Orange and Black, Birch became just the 21st Tiger to record her 1,000 career kill. She picked up her milestone kill at Pepperdine on Nov. 9 and would go on to finish her career with 1,082 kills. ranking 18th overall at the time of her graduation. For the year, Birch finished second on the team in attacking with 315 kills and a 2.94 kills per set average on .234 hitting. In WCC play, Birch proved to be the Tigers' best hitter as she finished with 208 kills and a team-best 3.25 kills per set average on .250 hitting. Against Santa Clara on Nov. 16, Birch posted a season-best 22 kills, one shy of her career high. One month prior, she was just as dominant against the Broncos as she posted 18 kills on .500 hitting while recording a career-best five blocks.

2012 (Junior):
Taking over the roll of Pacific's No. 1 outside hitter in 2012, Birch led the Tigers offensively as she posted 401 kills to go along with 428.5 points. Throughout the season, Birch led the Tigers in kills in 16 of Pacific's 31 matches as the junior hit double-digit kills in 23 matches including posting 20+ kills in five matches. In the first half of the year as an upperclassman, Birch was named to three all-tournament teams including picking up MVP honors at the Marquette Invitational in early September. In addition to MVP honors, Megan earned her first-career Big West Player of the Week award on Sept. 16 after she averaged just over 20 kills per match including posting a career-high 23 kills against the host Golden Eagles of Marquette while in Milwuakee. Prior to her 23-kill performance, Birch kicked off her tournament with 20 kills and a .264 (20-6-53) hitting percentage in a four-set win against Iowa. She was at her most efficient in the tournament finale against Milwaukee, hitting at a .326 clip with 19 kills and just four errors in 46 swings.

2011 (Sophomore):
In her second year in the Orange and Black, Birch established herself as one of the Tigers more feared hitters from the outside as she moved from the right to the left side of Pacific’s offense.  Third on the team in kills, Birch tallied 273 kills on the year in 771 attacks including picking up 165 of those kills in Big West play.  In 30 matches, Birch posted double-digit kills in 14 contests including picking up a career-high 17 kills against Duquesne in the Bankers Classic to earn tournament MVP honors.  Against UC Riverside on Nov. 4, Birch had one of her finest matches in her young career as she hit a whopping .591 against the Highlanders, scoring 13 kills on 22 attacks without making a single error.  One night later, Birch had the finest single-game during the rally score era for the Tigers as she fired off 12 kills in game two alone against Cal State Northridge.  Defensively on the year, Birch added 54 digs and 33 blocks to Pacific’s efforts.

2010 (Freshman):
Playing her first year of collegiate volleyball, Birch saw action in 28 of the Tigers' 30 matches throughout the year, playing on the right-side of the Tigers' offense. At the pin, Megan produced 93 kills in 290 attempts while also defensively adding 42 blocks to Pacific's efforts. She finished the year with 115.5 points after picking up one ace to go along with her kills and blocks. Picking up one double-digit kill effort on the year, Megan produced a season best 12 kills on just 17 swings, hitting .529, in the Tigers' 3-0 sweep of Siena on Aug. 28 at the Texas A&M Tournament to start the year.

High School:
Megan came to Pacific out of Monroe High School in Monroe, Wash. Guiding a young varsity squad as the lone senior starter, Birch led the Bearcats to their fourth straight WesCo division title while extending a 34-match league winning streak in her final season in 2009. For her efforts, Birch was named to the first team all-area and all-league teams as well as earning all-state honorable mention honors at the conclusion of the season. Birch led her team in every major statistical category at the net in her final season of action for Monroe.

Personal:
Born in Monroe, Wash., Megan Birch is the daughter of Kris and Mike Birch. She has one sister, Jordan. Megan is a communication and design major.
