Tawarahara Earns Her Second-Consecutive ACWPC All-American Honor
Stockton, Calif. - For the second-consecutive season, Dara Tawarahara earned Honorable Mention All-America honors as voted on by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).
The senior earned the award after leading the Tigers' attack in 2011 as Pacific finished the season 21-12 marking the second-straight year the team finished with 20+ wins.
For the year, the Hawaiian native led the team in goals (50) and was second in steals (36). She also recorded 19 assists and 13 drawn ejections. Appearing in 127 games in four seasons, Dara finished her career time at Pacific as the program's No. 2 career goal scorer with 229 goals. She was also named a First Team All-Big West player in 2011 for her play in the pool.
