Career Stats

2016 (Sophomore):
In a season cut short due to injury, Breitschwerdt posted a 6K time of 25:53.4 during the USF Invite to open the 2016 season.  

2015 (Freshman):
In her first year at Pacific, Breitschwerdt started with a 20:33.3 at the Big Wave Invitational, where the Tigers took third.  She put up a personal best and season best at the Sacramento Capital Cross Challenge with her time of 19:09.6.  That time was the third-best of any Tiger all year.  She also put up a 22:42.8 at the Bronco Invitational, her personal best for that distance.

High School:
Breitschwerdt joined the Tigers from St. Lucys Priory High School in Glendora, Calif. where she had been a member of the varsity cross country and track programs for four years, posting the top times on the squad. Katelyn posted a victory at the Mt. Sac Invite during this cross country season, winning the Division IV varsity race. Other top finishes include a first place mark in the 3200m last Tuesday in a dual meet at Chino Hills HS. Breitschwerdt's personal records include an 18:20 in the cross country 5K distance, a 5:22 in the 1600m track discipline and an 11:35 in the 3200m, a mark that sits as the best in the Baseline League.

Katelyn intends to major in biological sciences at Pacific with a goal of entering the field of pediatric oncology.  When she's not on the course, she enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, and being with friends.  She chose Pacific because she loved the campus and felt welcomed by the team during her recruiting visit.
