The 2017- 2018 academic year marks Manny De Alba’s first year as the Tigers athletic trainer for men’s soccer and women’s cross country and track. Prior to Pacific, De Alba spent 4 years at Lubbock Christin University where he worked with men’s and women’s soccer. He also completed an internship at the University of South Carolina, where he was a physician extender at USC Sports Medicine and an outreach athletic trainer at two local high schools, serving as head athletic trainer at one of the schools.
De Alba is a graduate of Sacramento State where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. Subsequently, he obtained a master’s degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Athletic Training. He is a board certified athletic trainer, a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and Soccer Athletic Trainers Society. De Alba has experience in many levels of athletics, including a summer internship with Chivas USA of Major League Soccer.
