2018-2019 (Junior): 
The junior decided to redshirt this season.  In the exhibition events he swam, Clemensen went a lifetime best in the 100 Breast (57.19).

2017-2018 (Sophomore):
Clemensen participated in the 50 free (20.95), 100 free (46.73) 100 breast (57.47), 200 breast (2:18.39), 100 fly (57.11) and 100 IM (53.66) for Pacific his sophomore year.

2016-17 (Freshman):
Clemensen started his Pacific career with times of 20.66 in the 50 Free and 46.57 in the 100 Free.  He also managed a 57.69 in the 100 Breast.  In the 100 Fly, Clemensen swam a 57.78.

High School:
Clemensen finished a successful high school career at Castro Valley with first-place finishes in the Western Alameda County Conference in the 50 Free and 200 Free last year.  He also took second in the 100 Free and 400 Free as a senior.  His junior year, he set the conference record en route to winning the 50 Free.  Clemensen took seventh in the state in the 200 Free as a senior, earning All-America status.  He also had a top 15 state finish in the 50 Free.

Clemensen comes from a strong athletic background.  His mother, Tracy, was a two-time Division II NCAA qualifier in springboard diving while at Cal State East Bay.  His father, Michael, was a two-time All-American while playing football at Purdue.  His brother, Dane, is currently a part of Cal Poly's track and field team and their wakeboard team.  Erik enjoys wakeboarding, waterskiing, America Ninja Warrior training, and a host of other outdoor activities in his free time.
