Hosmer continued to excel as a Tiger, having the team’s fastest times in the 100 (51.09), 200 (1:48.34), and 500 Freestyles (4:53.59). Her times in the 200 and 500 would earn her 4thand 3rdrespectively at the MPSF Championships. The team captain was also a part of the school-record-setting 800 Free Relay.
Hosmer led the Tigers in the distance races her sophomore season, taking four of Pacific's top five times in the 200 freestyle (1:48.63 a personal best), a top spot in the 500 free (4:50.41), first in the 200 fly (2:03.03), and participating in three of the Tigers' four relay events (400 free, 800 free, 400 medley relay). Set her best 200 free, 500 free, and 200m fly time at the MPSF Championship. Also had the seventh fastest time on the team in the 100 fly with 59.26.
Hosmer's first season as a Tiger was a rousing success, ending with three top-five finishes at the MPSFs. Hosmer finished second in the 200 Fly with a 2:01.64, then finished third in the 200 Free with a 1:49.28 for two of Pacific's top times. She also took fourth in the 500 Free with a 4:51.20 that was Pacific's best time of the year in that event. Hosmer had Pacific's top time in the 200 Free this year as well with her 1:49.28. At one point, Hosmer had a streak of four consecutive event wins, winning the 500 Free and 200 Free against UC Santa Barbara, then picking up wins in the 200 Back and 200 Fly against UC Santa Cruz.
