Oliphant continued to be a versatile swimmer for Pacific finishing in the top five for the team in four different events: 200 Free (1:55.64), 200 Back (2:13.09), 200 Breast (2:28.35), and 400 IM (4:32.00). Her time in the 400 IM scored points for the Tigers at the MPSF Championships.
Oliphant competed in a multitude of events her sophomore year setting a new personal best in the 500 free (5:00.11). Oliphant also swam in longer distance races compared to her first year competing in the 100 breast (1:10.75), 200 free (1:58.53), and 200 back (2:05.85) which was the third best time on the team.
Oliphant started her Tiger career swimming a wide variety of events. She would set new personal bests in the 50 Free (24.58), the 500 Free (5:10.09), and the 100 Back (59.33). That time in the 100 Back would be Pacific's third-fastest on the season.
While swimming for her hometown Glenbrook North Spartans, Oliphant won All-Conference, All-State, and All-American honors for her work in the pool. Glenbrook won the conference all three years Oliphant was on the team as she set a conference record in the 100 Breast and school records in the 100 Breast, 200 Medley Relay, and 200 Free Relay. She was also on the honor roll and was twice named a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.
A native of Northbrook, Illinois, Erin is the daughter of Amy and Rence. She has three younger siblings: Maggie, Holt, and Mack. Erin is majoring in sports management at Pacific.
