Walker had a ground-breaking year her sophomore outing breaking program records in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.09), 200 free relay (1:31.40), and 200 medley relay (1:39.60). The 100 breaststroke proved to be her best event taking the four best times on the team in that event. Also swam in the 50 free (23.98), 100 free (54.10), and 200 breast (2:21.57) which she finished with the third fastest time for the Tigers. Walker finished first in the 100 breastroke event at the MPSF Championships (Feb.17) with her program mark, a time she beat by two-hundreths of a second the weekend prior at the Ohio State Invitational (1:01.11).
With Pacific's top time in the 100 Breast at 1:02.12 this season, Walker found her footing in the pool quickly. She was on Pacific's second-place 200 Medley Relay team that swam a 1:40.44 and took second at the MPSFs in the 100 Breast with a B-cut time of 1:02.12. She set personal bests in the 50 Free (24.26), the 500 Free (5:54.91), and the 200 Breast (2:22.37) as well.
Walker won the 100 Free at the league championships in her final year at Santa Teresa High School. She was the Women's MVP her junior year and was the first swimmer in Santa Teresa history to make it to the state championships. Walker broke the school record in the 100 Breast and was on the 200 Medley Relay record-breaking team. Walker graduated as the valedictorian.
