Played in 51 games hitting .234 with three home runs and 28 RBIs. Reached base at a .280 clip. Was tied for third on the team in home runs with two. His 28 RBIs were tied for the most on the team. Tied for second in steals with three. Recorded a season-high three hits in a game four times. Doubled in back-to-back games against Indiana on 3/11 and San Fransisco on 3/16. Went 3-6 with a double, a home run and three RBI against BYU on 5/18. Had a four-RBI game against Hawai'i on 4/2.
Tarantino hit .298/.354/.500 in 50 games in his first year at Pacific. He scored the most runs on the team with 35 and drove in 29 and was second on the team in doubles with 15. Tarantino showed power at the plate hitting seven home runs while also recording 17 multi-hit games. Went 4-for-5 with three runs scored in a win against Pepperdine.
College of Marin (2016):
In his last year at the College of Marin, Tarantino hit .306/.344/.439 in 39 games. He scored 35 runs and drove in 36, both good for second on the team. Tarantino had 8 doubles and 5 homers while playing primarily shortstop.

Tarantino started his collegiate career with a bang, hitting .337/.371/.492. In his 39 games, Tarantino had 21 doubles, a triple, and 2 homers. Those power numbers helped him score 35 runs and drive in 32 more.
Tarantino played for Marin Catholic while in high school as a part of the Marin County Athletic League. He hit .495 his senior year en route to winning the conference MVP award and being named First Team All-State. Tarantino was also a part of the 2012 NCS championship-winning team.
An avid fisherman, Tarantino is the son of Linda and John. He has an older sister, Melissa, and a younger brother, Johnny. The San Rafael native is majoring in business administration.
