James Free II leads the offense with a .316 batting average. Free has notched 20 RBI, six home runs, one triple, five doubles and 24 runs scored in 43 hits. Matthew Tarantino ranks second with 18 RBI. Tarantino holds a .237 batting average with 33 hits with one home run and 12 doubles.
Kevin Sandri and Lucas Halstead tie for second on the team in batting average with a .266. Halstead has registered 16 RBI three home runs, one triple, five doubles, and 21 runs in 34 hits, while Sandri has 10 RBI, two doubles, and 13 runs in 38 hits.
Hayden Pearce will take the mound on Tuesday with a 5.18 ERA and a 1-0 record. In 13 appearances, he has made four starts. Pearce has struck out 13 batters through 24.1 innings pitched.
#2 Stanford enters the game with a 30-5 record overall and are a member of the Pac-12 conference.
Andrew Daschbach leads the Cardinal offense with 41 RBI in 37 hits. Daschbach holds a .296 batting average and has notched 11 home runs, one triple and five doubles with 26 runs scored. Tim Tawa leads the team in batting average with a .308 and has recorded 30 RBI, five home runs, one triple, 10 doubles, and 27 runs in 41 hits.
On the mound, Austin Weiermiller owns a 3.80 ERA and is 5-1 on the season. Weiermiller has made 14 appearances with one start so far and has struck out 15 batters in 21.1 innings pitched.
