The 2019 Pacific baseball schedule is set for the regular season. The Tigers will play 52 games this year and open and close the schedule at Klein Family Field.
Some highlights from the 2019 schedule include the season and home opener on February 15 against Chicago State, the WCC opening series Feb. 15-17 against rivals Saint Mary's, a trip to Spokane to take on the defending West Coast Conference Champions Gonzaga in April and the regular season finale at home against Portland. Throughout the season, the Tigers will take on two teams that finished 2018 in the top 100 in RPI and seven that were in the top 150.
The Tigers open the season in mid-February with a three-game series against Chicago State at Klein Family Field before heading to San Jose State for the first of two games in the season against San Jose State. The Tigers close February with a split series against Sacramento State. The Tigers will play the first two game of the series at home on Feb. 21 and 22 and head to Sacramento to wrap up the series on Feb. 23 and 24.
The majority of the month of March is spent on the road for the Tigers, however, the team does bookend the month with home series against Seattle and Pepperdine. Pacific also hosts Air Force on March 26 and 27 and Fresno State and San Jose State in mid-week games. March also holds the first two WCC series of the year when Pacific will play Saint Mary's and Loyola-Marymount on March 15-17 and 22-24 respectively.
The first four games in April are on the road. Pacific heads to UC Davis on April 2, then heads to Gonzaga to test the defending conference champions April 5-7. Pacific returns home to host UC Davis on April 9. Pacific closes the month of April with six of its seven games at home. The Tigers host San Francisco April 18-20 and BYU April 25-27.
In May, the Tigers start off by wrapping up their longest rest period of the season. Pacific does not play from the completion of their series against BYU until they travel to San Diego for a three-game series April 10-12. After taking on San Diego, Pacific plays a mid-week game at Nevada before returning home to wrap up the regular season against Portland. The game on May 16 against Portland will be Pacific's fireworks game, with a firework show for all fans in attendance after the game.
The season wraps up with the WCC Championship at Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton. The WCC has not released official dates for the Conference Tournament at the time of this release.
