It was the first no-hitter for a Pacific pitcher since D.J. Houlton threw one in May of 2001 against UC Riverside. Houlton went on to pitch for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
It was one of two no-hitters in the NCAA two weekends ago. Saint Louis' Cody Luther threw a two-walk no-no on Saturday to St. Bonaventure.
