Gallinat averaged 32 minutes in his 32 starts. He led the Tigers and was seventh in the WCC with 14.6 points per game. Appeared in #FearTheFro WCC feature (watch). Was named WCC Player of the Week on Feb. 26 after averaging 32 points, including a career-best 41 points against San Francisco on Feb. 22. Scored double-digits in 21 games and recorded his first double-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds against Portland on Feb. 10. Made a career-best four thiree-pointers at Air Force (Nov. 21) and against Pepperdine (Jan. 18). Named WCC honorable mention.
2016-17 (Sophomore, South Plains College)
Gallinat was part of a Texans squad that was ranked No. 1 in the country in the NJCAA for the entire 2016-17 season leading up to the national tournament. He also was named First Team All-Western Junior College Athletic Conference. Gallinat was South Plains’ second-leading scorer, averaging 11.9 points-per-game while shooting 48 percent from the floor and 37.5 percent from three-point range.
A native of Atlanta, Ga., Gallinat is majoring in Communication Studies.
