2016-17 (Sophomore, North Dakota State)
Started in all 30 games for the Bison, averaging 33.2 minutes per game. Averaged 11.2 points as well as 2.7 rebounds and assists. Logged 18 double-digit scoring performances on the year. Scored a career-high 25 points in the win over Fort Wayne (Jan. 19), going 5-for-9 from beyond the arch and 8-of-13 from the field. Registered a season-high eight rebounds against Oral Roberts (Feb. 22) while scoring 18 points in the 82-80 victory.
2015-16 (Freshman, North Dakota State)
Played in 32 of 33 games, making 20 starts as a true freshman. Totaled the second-most minutes on the team, averaging 30.4 minutes per game for the season. Averaged 8.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while ranking fourth on the team in scoring. Posted a season-high 21 points at Omaha (Feb. 13). Tallied 19 points vs. top-seeded IPFW (Mar. 7) in the semifinals of the Summit League Tournament , keying NDSU’s comeback victory. Broke out with 18 points at North Dakota (Dec. 11), including a 4-of-5 effort from three-point range to erase a 15-point second-half deficit in the Bison victory. Totaled a season-high six assists in the win over UT-Rio Grande Valley (Dec. 22).
Led Escondido HS to a league title and CIF Division 1 championship with a 23-7 record in his senior season in 2014-15. Earned Avocado-East League Player of the Year, All-CIF first team and All-San Diego section first team honors. Averaged 16.2 points, 6.1 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 3.3 steals in his senior campaign and played in the San Diego Senior All-Star Game. Was named first team all-league and team MVP as a junior. Played AAU for Gamepoint Basketball.
Son of Jim and Bertine Kabellis. Has one older brother, Jay. Kabelllis is a Business Adminsitration major with a concentration in Business Law.
