Valencia, Calif. - Ending play at the Jones Invitational, the Tigers finished in 13th place at 37-over par with a third round score of +11, 299 on Tuesday, Feb. 24. In a rough day for all the teams on the course at the Valencia Country Club, Southern California held on to their clubhouse lead after day one to win the tournament by 18 strokes over Kennesaw State.
Individually, the Tigers saw senior Byron Meth take home a top-15 finish as he ended the two-day tournament at even-par. Meth ended in a tie for 11th place after posting a +1, 73 in round three of the invitational. Meth finished second among West Coast Conference golfers as he was just edged out by his rival from BYU, Jordon Rodgers, who finished at -1 and in tie for sixth place.

Pacific will be back in action in two weeks time as they travel just up Interstate-5 to take part in the Sacramento State Invitational. The two day event takes place from Mar. 9-10 at Valley Hi Country Club.
