Tigers Slip on Day Two of The Goodwin

PALO ALTO, Calif. - In the second day of The Goodwin, the Tigers golf team dropped back a few spots in the standings finishing the day sitting tied for 16th overall at +36 in the tournament.   Pacific was +22 today.

James Feutz's day saw him hit par on 11 of 18 holes, with a pair of birdies split between the front and back nine finishing the second round with a 73.  After two days, he sits at +4 and tied for 19th in the individual category.  Casey Scott played a strong back nine with a birdie on three of the nine holes.  The back nine also saw him hit par on five of the nine finishing with a 74 on the day.  

Tyler Burnes improved in the second round as he sank back-to-back birdies on the sixth and seventh holes.  He would also go on to hit par on four of the back nine holes and birdie hole 16.  Burnes finishes with 75 on the day.  Geoff Fry finished with an 80 for round two while Daniel Peña rounded out the afternoon with an 82.

Round three of The Goodwin continues on Saturday as the Tigers tee off in the morning.
