SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Pacific mens' golf team concludes its first two rounds of the Olympic Club Intercollegiate in ninth place with a team score of 594.
This week's tournament is being hosted at the Par-71 Lake Course at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.
After shooting +20 (304) through the first 18 holes, the Tigers rebounded nicely, shooting just six-over (290) in Monday's second round.
Cal State Fullerton (558, -10) and Nevada (563, -5) are the only two teams currently shooting under par for the tournament.
Casey Scott leads the Tigers with a three over-par after shooting rounds of 72 and 73. The junior from Indio, Calif. currently sits in a tie for 22nd. Austin Fox follows closely with a 146 (+4). Fox was stellar during his second round, shooting a team-low 67. Jee Horsangchai (150, +8) sits in third for the Tigers thanks to a par performance in Monday's nightcap, while Tyler Burnes rounded out the scoring for Pacific with a 157 (+15).
The Tigers, along with the other 12 NCAA programs, will complete tournament play on Tuesday afternoon. Pacific will tee off alongside Cal State Monterey Bay, Seattle University, and Sacramento State at 8:45 a.m.
