One of two freshmen to start all 19 games for Pacific. Tied for third on the team with three goals on the year and added three assists to give him nine points in his first season donning the Orange and Black. Netted his first collegiate goal on his first shot in the victory over Drake (Aug. 26). Scored the game-winning goal at Georgia State (Oct. 2). The Watsonville, Calif. native was named to the WCC All-Freshman Team following the regular season. Orendain was also ranked #75 on TopDrawer Soccer's Top 100 Freshman Man postseason rankings.
Anthony Orendain is a 6-2 attacking player, from Watsonville, California. An All-Region Selection by Top Drawer Soccer in 2016, followed his recognition as a 2x first team all-conference nominee and All-CCS and All-State selection, along with being Watsonville’s 2016 player of the year. He scored 20 goals in his 69-game high school career. He also played club soccer for Santa Clara Sporting and ran cross country his senior year helping his team to the league title.
